Dániel Fehér

Strategic Communications Lead

Communications geek, policy hacker, professional cosmopolitan: Born in Budapest, raised in Bonn, educated in London, Dániel Fehér started his career at a small online startup in Hamburg and then spent 11 years working with and in the EU institutions in Brussels. Since 2015, he has been saving the world from Berlin, where he worked as Campaign Manager for the STOP TTIP campaign, as Communications Officer for the Federation of German  Consumer Organisations, and as Senior Communications Officer for ClientEarth. In January 2024 he enthusiastically jumped on board to set sails with OceanCare. Dániel focuses on institutional and political communication. Getting his audience excited about a law change is what he calls a challenge. Eleven years in the Brussels bubble and many more in the German capital have allowed Dániel to build up expertise and networks on EU institutions, economic governance, social justice, inclusion policies, civic participation, consumer protection, energy transition, climate change, transparency, rule of law, media freedom issues and, last but not least, democracy. Dániel is passionate about Universal Basic Income, runs a small bagel shop in Berlin, and can often be found at climate rallies. He is also a marathon runner, ukulele player and salsa dancer.
